Farm Fresh: Get To Know Sustainably-Sourced Cardamom in CLEAN RESERVE Avant Garden Hemp & Ginger

Welcome to our sustainable fragrance series Farm Fresh, where we explore the eco-conscious ingredients used in our CLEAN RESERVE and CLEAN RESERVE Avant Garden fragrances and share how we give back to our farmers. In addition to supporting the farmers and their communities, we’re committed to crafting products with the safest ingredients, avoiding anything that may be potentially linked to health or environmental issues (see our No-To list).

First, it’s important to truly understand what “sustainable” means.

Here’s how we define it:

  1. Responsibly sourced and doesn’t deplete the planet’s natural resources.

  2. Gives back to the farmers and their communities.

  3. Maintains an eco-conscious life cycle, from green manufacturing to recyclable packaging

Meet Cardamom

Cardamom is a popular spice made from the seeds of several plants in the ginger family. It has a spicy and slightly nutty aroma, making it a perfect addition to our invigorating yet comforting CLEAN RESERVE Avant Garden Hemp & Ginger

To create this fragrance, we partner with a fragrance house that sustainably sources Cardamom from the Cerro San Gil area of Guatemala which has been deeply affected by deforestation. By sourcing this ingredient from Cerro San Gil, we can provide financial support to the region’s farming community and its natural reserve programs.
